How Visual Matching Works

  1. Go to a collection's Full-Size Connector page
  2. Click "Match from S3" or "Match from Dropbox" to start matching
  3. The system generates visual fingerprints for all images
  4. Images are compared based on visual similarity (colors, patterns, structure)
  5. Matches are ranked by confidence: High (>85%), Medium (70-85%), Low (<70%)
  6. Review and approve matches to link full-size images to artworks

Note: This system matches images based on visual content, not filenames. Processing time depends on the number of images in the collection.
